I am currently a Faculty Fellow of Political Science at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
My research studies the moral sources of state responsibility for global problems and the extent to which states fulfill their “fair share” across important policy domains. It combines normative political theory with systematic empirical approaches to assign responsibility to states and measure the gap between what states contribute and how much they ought to contribute as their fair share.
I received my Ph.D. in Political Science at The Ohio State University. Before my doctoral studies, I received a M.A. from the Committee on International Relations at The University of Chicago and a B.A. in Politics from Willamette University.
